Meeting Minutes

August 9,  2005

Meeting was held at Old Chicago, Boise.

Attendees-  Sue Norris, Donna Swircszynski, Cheri Beaumont, Karen Egli, Kim King

Minutes- Minutes were approved and accepted.

Memberships- Sue Norris was to obtain a current national membership list from Sue Cheeseman and members in need of renewal will be notified.

Treasure- Donna reported sales for the basket raffles-Sue Norris and Donna to verify amount collected and report back to members.

Programs- Members discussed the upcoming program in November including possible topics and presenters.  Topics possibilities included day/night cycles and feeding.  Kim King to put polling flyer on topics of interest together and distribute to the members.

Legislative- no report

Fund Raising- Sue Norris presented the idea of the basket raffle to be auctioned at the Christmas party.  Members discussed possible themes including spa, outdoors/fishing, outing to a yurt, family basket, and fitness package/personal trainer.  Members plan to re-address at the October meeting.

Communications- No report

New Business- Officers established meeting topics for this fall.  September’s meeting to be recreation (picnic) along with a business meeting.  October will be a business meeting.  November’s will be the chapters education meeting and December’s meeting will be recreation.  Picnic in September was discussed and flyer to be put together and distributed to the chapter members. Flyer will be posted for any potential members.  The flyer will instruct members to the need to bring side dishes, beverages and place settings.

National NANN news- The national NANN meeting is in Anaheim Ca, September 28^th through October 1^st.  Sue Norris and Sue Cheeseman to attend and receive recognition for GSANN.

Service Activity- no report

Bylaws- Revised to be distributed at the next business meeting.

The GSANN Chapter business Meeting will be held September 26^th at Olive Garden 6 p.m. in Boise.
